Four men from the LGBT+ community who were tragically murdered in Barking. This year is a particularly poignant year, as we remember Anthony Walgate, Gabriel Kovari, Daniel Whitworth, and Jack Taylor. LGBT+ History Month is an annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements. Councillor Afolasade Bright, Cabinet Member for Employment, Skills & Aspirations and Member Development, is proud to celebrate LGBT+ History Month in Barking & Dagenham.
